The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has ordered an emergency meeting to assess the damage caused to citizens’ properties in Tripoli. The meeting will be attended by the Minister of Local Governance, the Minister of Housing and Utilities, and the Director General of the Housing and Utilities Authority.
Dbeibah emphasized the importance of conducting field visits to evaluate the extent of the damage and called for the immediate formation of task forces to take the necessary measures to compensate those affected as quickly as possible.
This directive comes in the wake of violent clashes that erupted in several areas of Tripoli, resulting in significant material damage to citizens’ properties and widespread panic among residents in various neighborhoods.
